Cup sealing film is a printed film used with a cup sealing machine to seal the top of cups and containers. We offer a permanent seal for beverage cups such as bubble tea and juice, and easy-peel lidding film for food cups and trays that need to be opened. Frequently Asked Questions

What is the minimum order for cup sealing film?

2 rolls for digital printing, 20 rolls for gravure printing.

How long does cup sealing film production take?

Digital: about 7 days for new jobs and 5 days for repeat orders. Gravure: about 30 days for new jobs and 14 days for repeat orders. Estimated lead time begins after final artwork approval and receipt of the required deposit. Actual lead times may vary with order specifications and production schedules. Shipping time is not included.

How thick is cup sealing film?

Two options: 42 microns or 52 microns total thickness.

What is the film structure?

Structures vary by application and include PET/CPP and PET/AL/CPP laminates, as well as CPP easy-peel sealing layers. The CPP layer is the heat-seal layer that bonds to the cup rim. The right structure depends on the container material, sealing conditions and end use.

What is the difference between permanent seal and easy peel?

Permanent seal suits drink cups pierced with a straw, such as bubble tea and juice. Easy peel can be peeled off, for food cups and trays that need to be opened.

Is the film supplied in rolls or sheets?

Rolls, for cup sealing machines.

Do you have stock designs for new shops?

Yes, ready-made designs are available for businesses not yet ready to invest in custom printing.

Is cup sealing film suitable for food contact?

Our films are manufactured under GMP/HACCP-certified hygiene procedures. The CPP sealing layer — the layer in contact with the container and its contents — is sourced from a supplier whose safety data sheet states compliance with US FDA 21 CFR 177.1520 and EU Regulations (EC) No 1935/2004 and (EU) No 10/2011. Food-contact suitability of the finished pack depends on the material structure and intended use; supporting documentation is available on request.

Can you help with artwork?

Yes. If you have artwork, our in-house team will prepare and adjust it for production on your packaging free of charge. This covers production file preparation, not full brand or packaging design.

Can I test samples before ordering?

Yes, and we recommend it, subject to the job and sample arrangements. Our team records the application parameters for you to ensure the best results in production.

Do you export?

Yes. We serve customers in many countries, and our team communicates in English, Thai and Chinese.
